Program Description

Are you fascinated by the intricacies of criminal investigations, the psychology of perpetrators, and the chilling realities of true crime stories?

Join the library's True Crime Book Club for an exploration into the captivating and often unsettling world of real-life crimes. We'll delve into a variety of true crime narratives, from infamous cases and unsolved mysteries to in-depth investigations and survivor stories.

For our next exploration into the realm of true crime, we will be discussing Robert Kolker's compelling and deeply unsettling book, Lost Girls: An American Mystery. This meticulously researched account delves into the unsolved murders of several young female sex workers whose bodies were discovered along a remote stretch of Long Island coastline.

True Crime Book Club meets the first Saturday every other month. Copies of Lost Girls: An American Mystery are available for checkout at the library.
