Spooky Story Writing Contest

Program Description
Entries will be accepted from 10/01/2025 to 10/27/2025
Two age groups: Ages 8-12 & 13-18
Submit an original spooky story of 1,000 words or less to be entered to win! All stories must be typed in 12 point Times New Roman font and double spaced. Please label your story with your name, age, school, and phone number. You can drop off your typed story at the CATS circulation desk or email it to [email protected].
All entries are due by 6 PM on Monday, October 27th. No late entries will be accepted!
Winners will be announced via social media on Tuesday, November 4th.
The top three stories in each age category will win a Books-A-Million Gift card!
1st Place - $30 gift card
2nd Place - $20 gift card
3rd Place - $10 gift card
