Every year during tax season, the AARP volunteers offer free tax aide to the public from February 1st to mid April. And they need YOU to help volunteer. Please pop in for this no-commitment information opportunity, and enjoy some refreshments and chance for door prizes!
Why Volunteer with AARP Foundation Tax-Aide?
Make a Real Difference:
-Help people in your community—especially older adults and those with low-to-moderate
incomes—get the tax help they need, free of charge.
-Every return prepared puts money back in taxpayers’ pockets, often making a critical
difference in their lives.
No Experience Required:
-You don’t need prior tax knowledge to get involved—training and certification are
provided.
-A variety of roles are available: from preparing taxes to greeting clients, coordinating
sites, or handling communications.
Build Skills & Confidence:
-Gain valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, communications, and technology.
-Keep your mind sharp by learning new skills and staying engaged in meaningful work.

Flexible Commitment:
Volunteer hours vary by role and location, with the greatest need during tax season (January–April).
Whether you can give a few hours a week or more, there’s a place for you.
