Program Description
Sometimes the story behind the song is more interesting than the song itself.
Join Charlie Mink and Jill Dryden as they explore the historical significance of some of the songs that have made a contribution to the rich musical culture we now enjoy.
Beginning with an ancient Irish hymn, passing through the Music of Kings, and then into the realm of more modern Celtic and American folk music the audience will not only enjoy the music of this program, but will also take away a deeper understanding and appreciation of the historical times surrounding a particular piece of music.
