Exploring the American Revolution: Transcribe-a-Thon

Program Description
In observance of the United States Semiquincentennial aka America 250, Arkansas TV, the Arkansas Center for the Book, and the Garland County Library are partnering to host a free, interactive Transcribe-a-Thon connected to The American Revolution, a film by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt, and the Library of Congress's "By the People" project.
The event begins with a short film preview of The American Revolution, followed by guided training and live transcription of Revolutionary-era letters, diaries, and printed documents.
