Pumpkin Decorating Contest (All Ages)

Program Description
Pumpkin entries will be accepted from October 1st - October 29th! Late entries will not be accepted!
Bring a decorated pumpkin to the library to enter our pumpkin decorating competition and fill out a card with your name, age, and phone number. Your pumpkin will receive a number and be placed in the library for patrons to view all month long. Vote in-house and online on Friday, October 30th from 10am-3pm.
One Facebook like = 1 vote. One paper vote in-house = 1 vote.
Voting will end at 3pm on the Friday, October 30th.
The pumpkin with the highest number of votes in its age category will receive a $40 gift card prize to Hobby Lobby, the runner up will receive a $10 gift card prize to Hobby Lobby.
Winners will be announced by 4pm on the 30th.
Age Groups:
Category #1: Ages Birth - 5
Category #2: Ages 6 -12
Category #3: 13-17
Category #4: 18 & up
Pumpkin Rules:
Carved pumpkins or pumpkins stabbed/pierced in any way WILL NOT be accepted! (We don't want them to rot before voting!)
Patrons will only be allowed to enter one pumpkin under their name, per category.
All pumpkins must be appropriate for an all-ages audience to view.
All pumpkins must stay until 3pm on October 30th to be voted on.
All pumpkins not picked up by Tuesday, November 3rd will be thrown away, along with any items attached to them.
