Program Description
Certified Restorative & Ashtanga Yoga Instructor Amanda Mitchell of The Local Art Entity leads this program.
These free candle lit therapeutic and restorative sessions are based on the eight limbs of yoga. The classes promote self-healing and provide meditative tools for continuous work. Practice the process of meditation and the art of doing nothing to encourage true physical and mental rest. No previous yoga experience is required and each class is an individual offering.
Amanda was born and trained in New Orleans, LA to teach and perform. Early studies of dance and baton led to a lifelong profession in movement. Over 20 years ago, Restorative Yoga found Amanda through injury and led to limitless growth. For the two decades, Amanda has passionately served her communities with the art of yoga instruction, as well as dedicated her life to recreational teachings. She is honored to be back sharing the practice of Restorative Yoga with Hot Springs, AR at the Garland County Library. Amanda believes the ability to create every day is Love.
No registration required, just stop by! Please bring a blanket, mat, and any yoga props you may have.

A limited number of yoga mats & props will be provided on a first come first served basis. You are welcome (& encouraged) to bring your own mats if possible.
Registrations
