Program Description
This four week course focusing on non-profit workers and volunteers includes an introduction to the basics and provides important language tools for improving communication skills with other Spanish-speakers. Correct pronunciation, practices applicable to daily situations, and basic conversation are some of the objectives of this course.
This course is taught by Laura Dolence, who served as Spanish Instructor at the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor, NY from 2009-2019. Laura holds a Dual Masters in Applied Linguistics in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and TEFL from the Universidad de Jaén in Spain and Universidad Iberoamericana in Puerto Rico.
