Program Description

This program is part of the collaborative series between Garland County Library and Hot Springs National Park, and can be attended in-person or watched via livestream on the Library’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/GarlandCoLibrary or the Garland County Library Facebook page.

Hot Springs National Park protects and distributes waters from three different spring systems, the thermal waters, Happy Hollow (cold) and Whittington Spring (cold). Each spring source has its own story, its own taste and mineral profile, and, let's be honest, its own fans. The ranger will bring tasting selections from each of the springs so that the public can compare for themselves as we learn about the history and chemistry of the springs.
