Program Description
"250 Threads" is a special presentation by All Things Fiber to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America. Textiles and fiber have been crucial to this nation's growth. Weaving, quilting, embroidery, knitting, crochet, needlework, and spinning yarn are just a few of the many methods on display at this pop-in fiber arts event. Visit the Garland County Library on April 30th, 2026, from 9am to 3pm, to meet and observe skilled, local textile artists. In April, you can also check out the "History of Fiber" display in the library's glass display case.
All Things Fiber is a weekly looking for artists and crafters who enjoy working on all types of needlecraft projects, i.e. knitting, crocheting, tatting, counted cross stitch, embroidery, quilting, weaving, etc. Everyone is welcome - beginners, those who want to learn, those who are stumped, and the experts. There is always someone who is willing to share and give assistance.
