Program Description
Chances are this week you have had a spam call on your phone and may even have had a phishing email or two in your inbox that you had to decide whether it was real or not. Attacks on consumers are becoming more frequent and sophisticated. According to FBI, in 2024, scams targeting adults aged 60+ resulted in over $2.4 billion in reported losses, a 300% increase from 2020.
This program is presented by the Garland County Extension Service and the Garland County Extension Homemakers Council. Along with the subject topics, participants can learn more about the opportunities for community service, leadership development, life-long learning and all of the fun that being a member of EHC presents!
