Join the library's True Crime Book Club for an exploration into the captivating and often unsettling world of real-life crimes. We'll delve into a variety of true crime narratives, from infamous cases and unsolved mysteries to in-depth investigations and survivor stories.
For our next True Crime Book Club selection, we will be dissecting Shawn Cohen's College Girl, Missing: The True Story of How a Young Woman Disappeared in Plain Sight. This gripping account delves into the baffling 2011 disappearance of Lauren Spierer, a vibrant Indiana University student who vanished after a night out with friends, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and a community searching for answers.
True Crime Book Club meets the first Saturday every other month. Copies of College Girl, Missing are available for checkout at the library.
