Community Narcan Training

Program Description
The Garland County Library and Hot Springs Police Department invite you to a free, hands‑on community Narcan training designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to act in a critical moment. Opioid overdoses can happen anywhere, and a prepared community is a safer community.
During this training, participants will learn about today's opiod crisis, how to recognize the signs of an overdose quickly and accurately, and how to safely administer Narcan (naloxone) to reverse an opioid overdose. This free training takes about an hour and all who participate will receive their own box of Narcan to take home.
Participants can register in advance by calling HSPD's Peer Recovery Specialist at 501-762-4317 or 501-321-6789 ext. 7724.
