Join the Have Book, Will Travel adult book club at the library! Join us for a powerful and thought-provoking discussion of Rebecca Skloot's acclaimed non-fiction book, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. This compelling narrative explores the extraordinary story of Henrietta Lacks, a Black woman whose cancer cells – taken without her knowledge in 1951 – became one of the most important tools in medical history, known as HeLa cells.

Have Book, Will Travel meets the first Saturday every other month. Copies of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks are available for checkout at the library.
