Join the Have Book, Will Travel adult book club at the library! We're a friendly and enthusiastic group of readers who love to embark on literary adventures across a diverse landscape of genres and themes. From thrilling mysteries and thought-provoking historical fiction to heartwarming contemporary stories and insightful memoirs, our selections will take us on journeys both real and imagined.

Join us for a discussion of Educated,  a powerful memoir that chronicles Tara Westover’s journey from growing up in a strict and isolated survivalist family in rural Idaho to earning a PhD from Cambridge University. Raised without formal education and under the shadow of her father’s radical beliefs and her brother’s abuse, Tara teaches herself enough to pass the ACT and gain admission to college. Her pursuit of knowledge becomes a path to self-discovery, independence, and ultimately, transformation.

Have Book, Will Travel meets the first Saturday every other month. Copies are available for checkout at the library.
