Program Description
Greetings, all you boils, ghouls, and non-boo-nary folks! If you've ever wanted to dip your toe into the murky waters of horror movies but didn't know where to start, this program series is for you - though seasoned horror hounds are welcome as well, of course! Each week in October, we'll be showing a different landmark horror film along with a brief presentation about that movie and its place in the horror canon. Popcorn, snacks, and drinks will be provided!
This week, we're exploring a genre of horror that really took off in the 90s thanks to this movie! "Meta-Horror" movies are horror movies that are about horror movies, and this movie kicked off a series of such films with the line "What's your favorite scary movie?"
